J'ai pensé parler de ce Magic 4 Pro que je teste en ce moment

Ce n'est pas rien, un flagship de l'ancien rejeton de Huawei depuis sa chute

Et en effet j'ai l'impression d'avoir un Huawei entre les mains, un genre de remplaçant de mon P30 Pro de 2019 a la sauce 2022, un design inspiré du Mate 40 Pro

Dans la globalité ma première impression est assez bonne mais il a aussi hérité de mauvaise choses de Huawei comme l'interface Magic UI qui est identique a Emui : look un peu daté, ergonomie moyenne a certains endroits (pas possible de swiper vers le bas pour descendre les notifications/raccourcis)

Honor est une petite entité comparé a ce que Huawei était, ce qu'ils ont fait avec ce modèle me semble HONORable 😁

écran, retour haptique, biométrie, HP sont de bonne facture apparemment

Fait que quelques photos test sans importance, ça me semble au moins intéressant mais le zoom qui monte a X100 c'est encore plus abusé que sur le S21/22U...partant d'un zoom optique (périscope) 3,5X lol Cela dit il a l'air performant mais lisse plus vite les détails que le Pixel 6 Pro

Je ne me prononce pas maintenant...

Edit : je viens de le charger de 10% a 100% en moins de 45 mins 🤪

Je voudrais remplacer mon P30 par un téléphone aussi bien voir mieux en photo et qualité d'écran.

Je ne joue pas à de gros jeux.

Quand je dit qu'il vaut mieux attendre le retour des utilisateurs pour tout que ce soit photo ou puissance a l'utilisation  remarque on peut reconnaitre que cette marque apprend vite que ce soit les bons cotés ou les mauvais 

Ben, le concept est pas mal, mais semble quand même ultra fragile, et très très plastoque bien cheap... 

Point très positif, les grand écran de façade qui évite d'ouvrir le X trop souvent ;-)

Pour les photos lovers la configuration de l'apn sera un peu différente du P20 Pro avec notamment un zoom optique X5

Donc on reprend dans un topic tout neuf  désolé mais impossible de le retrouver ..

J'ai pu l'essayer ce midi à la fnac, il est vraiment pas mal.

J'ai rapidement comparé la partie photo avec mes iphone x et mate 20 pro, le view 20 s'en sort très bien, les détails sont bons, souvent meilleur que mon X. Le seul point négatif que j'ai pu voir sur les photos sont les traits de lumières issues des spots, j'imagine qu'avec du soleil, ça doit faire pareil...

After a buildup lasting several months, with leaks and rumors coming in almost daily, the Huawei P9 is now finally official, announced at a dedicated event in London. And alongside the P9 we're also being treated to a P9 Plus, instead of the previously rumored P9 Max.

Huawei P9

The Huawei P9 is the regular-sized flagship, though we're inclined to call it the small-sized one - it has pretty much the same footprint as an iPhone 6s. Display diagonal is 5.2 inches, resolution is 1080p, and it's an IPS LCD panel.

It's the in-house Kirin 955 chipset powering things, a modified version of the Kirin 950 inside the Mate 8. Its octa-core CPU is set at 2.5GHz for the quad-Cortex-A72 cluster and 1.8GHz for the quad-Cortex-A53.

There will be two versions - the lower-specced one containing 3GB of RAM and 32 of storage, and the better-equipped one with 4GB and 64GB storage. A microSD slot provides an option for expansion.

It's all about the camera though, the dual setup being the headline feature. Co-developed with German optics specialist Leica, the P9's rear shooter consists of two 12MP units, one capturing color, the other seeing only black and white. And varying levels of gray, naturally. They work in unison to deliver more detailed shots in good light and significantly reduce noise in low light.

For those fond of numbers, lens aperture is f/2.2, and the field of view is equivalent to a 27mm lens in 35mm terms. Autofocus relies on a combination of laser, contrast and depth calculation (likely an algorithm based on the differences between what the two cameras are seeing).

There's a dual-LED flash to help in the dark, but the big omission here is OIS. We figure it's impossible to stabilize both cameras identically, and with the monochrome one helping in less than ideal conditions, the lack of stabilization shouldn't be missed.

The body is made from aluminum, and resembles the existing Huawei-made Nexus 6P, especially the camera strip on the back. The fingerprint sensor is on the back, for immediate access with either forefinger.

The P9 packs a 3,000mAh battery, and changing takes place via a USB Type-C connector. There's no word on fast charging.

Huawei P9 Plus

A P9 Max was rumored, but today's not the day it gets announced with the Huawei P9 Plus filling it for it. It measures 5.5-inches in diagonal, so a Max isn't entirely out of the question with its alleged 6.2-inch diagonal.

The bump in size to 5.5 inches doesn't come with a resolution increase, but what P9 Plus does bring on top of the regular P9 is pressure sensitivity, 3D Touch-style. On the P9 Plus the tech is called Press Touch. Huawei already did it on that one special top-end version of the Mate S nobody has seen, but hopefully the P9 Plus will bring it to more pockets.

Unlike the options you get on the P9, the P9 Plus will only come in a 4GB/64GB variety. The P9 Plus comes with a due increase in battery capacity, rated at 3,400mAh. The large model also has dual-IC Rapid Charge, which will give you 6 hours of talk time for a 10-minute charge, Huawei says.

The Huawei P9 is priced at £449, while the Plus commands a £100 premium for a total of £549. The smartphones will be available starting April 16. 29 countries in Europe and the Middle East will get it in the first wave.

Huawei has taken the wraps off the Honor 8 today. This is the new flagship from the Chinese company's more affordable sub-brand, and it does come with a large number of similarities compared to Huawei's top of the line device, the P9.

The Honor 8 has a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, and a dual-12 MP camera setup on the back, with f/2.2 aperture. The selfie shooter is an 8 MP unit with f/2.4 aperture. The phone has up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. So far, on paper the Honor 8 is pretty much identical to the P9.


The big difference is the chipset employed. The cheaper Honor 8 has to make do with the older Kirin 950, whereas the P9 sports the Kirin 955. The 950 inside the new Honor handset comes with an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at up to 2.3 GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores that go up to 1.8 GHz.

4G LTE is built-in, along with dual-SIM functionality (although the second SIM slot doubles as a microSD card slot so you can't use two SIMs and an expansion card at the same time unfortunately). The Honor 8 has a 3,000 mAh battery that you charge through a USB Type-C port. The 3.5 mm headset jack is in too, and that's becoming more and more rare these days.

The phone's dimensions are 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm, it weighs 153g, and it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow underneath Huawei's EMUI 4.1 (the software is another similarity to the P9, by the way). A fingerprint scanner is on the back.


The Honor 8 becomes available in China on July 19 at 10:08 am (yes, really). It will be offered in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink, and Sapphire Blue, though some hardware versions won't be available in all colors.

The model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at CNY 1,999 ($298, €269). If you pick the one with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, the price is CNY 2,299 ($343, €310), while the top of the line variation with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will set you back CNY 2,499 ($373, €337).

Le directeur général de Huawei a fait une déclaration sur le réseau social Weibo. Il affirme qu’un smartphone n’a pas besoin de 6 Go de mémoire vive, tentant ainsi de justifier pourquoi les Mate 9 et P10 n’en sont pas pourvus. Un bel exercice de langue de bois.

Les déclarations des patrons des entreprises sont souvent faites pour brouiller les cartes et ne pas avouer prendre davantage de décisions économiques que technologiques. Prenons l’exemple de Huawei. Il y a bientôt trois ans, Richard Yu, patron de la branche « Consumer Devices » du groupe, celle qui est en charge de concevoir les smartphones Px et Mate, notamment, a déclaré à la presse que les écrans QHD sont des hérésies pures et simples sur des tailles d’écran de mobiles, même sur les phablettes.

Metal unibody, spacious 6.0-inch display, a super fast fingerprint reader and nice 13MP camera, the Huawei Mate7 is definitely a tough device to top. However, the Chinese OEM is definitely trying its best and the Mate 8 does look mightily impressive.
