L'emplacement du stylet me semble bizarre : je vois mal comment le retirer Pour le reste, le design est réussi même si je me dis qu'une telle surface en verre sera un nid à empreintes...

Pour le stylet, Samsung à breveté un nouveau système d'éjection automatique.

Par ailleurs il semblerait que la couleur du stylet soit assortie à celle du telephone.

Avec une annonce attendue à la mi-août, le Galaxy Note 5 fait évidemment beaucoup parler de lui en ce moment. C'est encore le cas aujourd'hui, suite à la diffusion de photos présumées du nouveau stylet S-Pen qui devrait l'accompagner.

 

 

Longtemps négligé par Samsung, le design est désormais au coeur de ses préoccupations. Les derniers Galaxy S en sont la preuve et nous devrions à nouveau pouvoir le constater avec le Galaxy Note 5, que le Coréen a visiblement soigné dans les moindres détails. Outre un châssis alliant verre et métal, un nouveau stylet S-Pen est également attendu. On parle d'un système d'éjection automatique mais aussi d'une forme rappelant celle d'un stylo et cela semble se confirmer avec les photos ci-dessous.

J'espère que le système d'éjection automatique est fiable. Ca serait dommage de perdre le sylet suite à un déclenchement intempestif ou qu'au contraire, il reste bloqué. Ca me semble être un point de fragilité qui n'avait pas forcément lieu d'être àmha...

Franchement on vas attendre le 12 Aout car ça devient n'importe quoi ... J'espère qu'on auras un Note 5 présenté avec le Edge Plus mais les sites parlent que du Edge Plus dans 99% des cas

Sincèrement je voit pas Samsung remettre un port SD dans ses futures HDG quand on voit la marge qu'il vont se faire en rajoutant 100€ a chaque passage de capacité supérieure a lors que ça leur coute rien je pense qu'on est parti pour plus avoir ce genre de port sur un smartphone ...toute façon je dit et je maintient depuis plusieurs années qu'a terme les slot SD vont disparaitre au profit d'un stockage interne beaucoup plus rapide aussi bien en écriture qu'en lecture

The persisting rumors of an early launch for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 are likely going to end up true, the latest report out of Korean media claims. Only, contrary to the previous intel which pointed to an August 12 date, this new info states the event is scheduled for August 13 in New York. Judging by the incessant stream of info and renders, we'd be inclined to believe that is indeed the case.

The reasoning behind the haste is to get a head start on Apple's iPhone 6s/6s pair, due to be released mid-September. Hence, Samsung is ditching its established practice to announce the next-gen Note at IFA in Berlin and is pushing for an early release.

Meanwhile, a crafty Polish reporter has dug up info on a key feature of both the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge Plus, that's so far been a mystery, and one that sparks plenty of heated debates. So if the user agent profiles found on the website of US carrier Sprint is to be believed, the Note 5 will have expandable storage via a microSD slot, supporting microSDXC cards up to 128GB.

Le Galaxy S6 est une réussite autant sur le plan esthétique que technique mais un défaut revient souvent sur le tapis : l'absence de port microSD. Choix délibéré ou limitation technique liée à la mémoire UFS qui nécessite un contrôleur dédié, difficile à dire mais le Galaxy Note 5 pourrait bien nous éclairer sur cette affaire puisqu'il devrait, lui aussi, employer le même type de mémoire. Reste à savoir si le port microSD sera, là aussi, absent.

 

L'espoir renaît, port microSDXC évoqué chez Sprint

 

C'est évidemment la crainte de beaucoup. Crainte d'ailleurs confirmée par plusieurs fuites, mais pas celle que nous relayons aujourd'hui. En effet, tout n'est pas encore perdu. En explorant le site de l'opérateur Sprint, nos confrères du portail polonais Tablety ont découvert un profil utilisateur appartenant très certainement au Galaxy Note 5. Peu de détails techniques y figurent mais la mémoire y est bien abordée.

With August almost here, the Galaxy Note 5 seems to be getting more and more attention with every passing day. The device will allegedly debut next month and excitement is at an all-time high. Thanks to various rumors and also a recent set of detailed renders that we managed to get the inside track on, we already have a pretty good idea of the upcoming phone's design.

 

However, we are yet to see the device in the flesh and the closest we have gotten so far is a set of color renders for Note 5 cases, already up for preorder.

Tradition dictates that rumors and leaked renders of an upcoming smartphone should be followed by actual live photos, and here we go as Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+ posed in front of a camera. Confirming what was already more or less established, the images depict the edged phablet in golden attire, while the Note 5 is in a more orthodox white.

 

The Galaxy S6 edge+ isn't trying to hide its relation to its smaller edge brother released in March. In fact, if it wasn't for a minor difference in the curve of the corners and the straight top and bottom edges, we may as well be looking at the phone and not the phablet. The gold color will be appreciated by the flashier customers, though the contrasting home button may bother some.

 

 

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+

 

The other more meaningful piece of intel, revealed by the photos, is the OS version on the Galaxy S6 edge+, and it's going to be Android 5.1.1 Lollipop - only the latest is befitting of the upmarket smartphone.

 

The Galaxy Note 5 photos are almost equally as predictable, but they do clarify a few things. The sensor arrangement on the left of the earpiece corresponds to the renders we exclusively delivered, and not to the triple cutout previously leaked. Additionally, the thin bezels that we expected, based on display and overall dimensions, indeed appear to be a reality.

 

 

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+

 

That's all there is for now, but expect to see higher-res better-lit spy images of Samsung's upcoming phablets, as the alleged August 13 launch date approaches.
